StaffingOur practitioners are carefully chosen to blend in with our existing team and all have relevant childcare qualifications and experience to deliver the highest standards of care and education to your child.Your child will be allocated a ‘Key Person’ who will build a particularly special bond with your child and your family.The Managers of the settings holds NVQ Level 3 & 4 qualifications in Children’s Care, Learning and Development and have years of experience working in a nursery and in senior roles.The Managers also undergo specific training in Leadership and Management. The Managers are required to continue in their development either through continuing on to the degree or through training that is provided through the local authority.Deputy Managers are encouraged to train in First Line Management.All Unit Leaders hold Level 3 qualifications in Childcare and are given the opportunity to undertake Team Leader training which add to the support and smooth running of the Nursery on a daily basis.All staff have completed First Aid training and have attended Basic Child Protection training and over 50% hold Basic Food Hygiene certificates. Staff regularly attend training for specific areas of development organised by the Local Authority, as well as practitioner forums which offer the opportunity to discuss current sector issues with other settings in the locality. Termly In-house training sessions are conducted ensuring that the whole staff team continue to work towards the same ethos and understanding of best practice.
